Challenges and Strategies for Post-COVID-19 Gender Equity and Sustainable Mobility

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced countries around the world to take unprecedented measures contain it. In particular, its impact on mobility been enormous, causing a sudden decrease in number of trips and changes choice use modes transport. Furthermore, effects this health crisis social economic spheres have aggravated inequalities between population groups, with women being one most affected which may accentuate already known gender gap mobility. Based these premises, we carried out strategic analysis urban from perspective sustainability equity context pandemic, identifying set effective strategies address post-COVID-19 scenario. To end, based review literature expert opinions, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities Threats (SWOT) that allowed us formulate 16 after careful consideration weaknesses, strengths, threats opportunities encountered. Our results provide useful recommendations for making successful policy decisions planning towards more sustainable, equitable safe model.
